Job purpose :

• Within the framework of Technip values, policies, and contract commitments (including HSES, quality, time & cost), the Projects Manager is responsible and accountable for the performance of all works that relate to ongoing and newly assigned projects.

Reporting lines and interactions:

Hierarchically reports to: Operations Manager

Operationally reports to: Operations Manager

Directly supervises: Project Engineers, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager(if applicable), Assigned Contract engineers/Admins and Assigned Project Control Engineer/Admin.

Key interactions (internally, externally):

• Internally: Heads of Discipline Departments, Lead engineers, Finance and Administration Manager, QHSE Manager, and HR Manager.
• Externally: Other Technip entities, Client Projects Team representatives (Project Manager, Discipline Engineers, and all other Client operational support function representatives as required). He/She shall also interact/interface with all Third-Party project stakeholders with specific scope liability on the project with the same client. In addition, PM shall also interact with key representatives of the EPC contractors and their sub-contractors, vendors, licensors, authorities, partners etc.

Profile Must Have :

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas sectors with independent working capability & effective communication skills.

Main Accountabilities:

Accountable and Responsible for the performance of the project(s) (may be more than one). This covers Studies, medium to large FEED as well as detail Engineering projects executed by Technip Energies Doha or a portion of major projects executed by other Technip Energies entities such as those based in Europe and the Asia pacific. He/She has the authority to make decisions on behalf of the Company on all project related matters both Technical and Commercial (PM to justify all decisions made on commercial matters with the Company internal Management Team prior to implementing). In addition, he shall be responsible for:

• Ensures timely internal and external reporting.
• Manages, informs, and leads project teams by setting and monitoring performance targets.
• Contributes to people development by interfacing with project department and HR.
• Guarantees achievement or improvement of P&L forecasts.
• Ensures coordination of interfaces.
• Ensure project execution and financial close out with appropriate feedback.
• Creates a quality and HSE oriented work climate that encourages client satisfaction and HSE consciousness among the project team.
• Ensures project execution within time, budget and QHSES requirements by allocating resources, managing risks/opportunities and changes, coordinating and supervising project engineers and engineering resources
• Defines engineering coordination procedures, issues the basic data for design and approves general project specifications.
• Ensures timely approval of engineering documents from the client as well as timely technical and economic definition of change orders and/or claims.
• Contributes to schedule preparation, actively controls schedule execution and proposes corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure compliance with manhours budget by proposing optimized technical solutions.
• Ensures coordination of interfaces among engineering disciplines and with Client and subcontractors
• Defines and coordinates the permitting process with third parties (e.g., certifying authority, local authorities, etc.) to obtain approval of engineering documents.
