Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Full Stack Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium.

  • The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises.
  • In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

  • Development of front-end website architecture.
  • Design of user interactions on web pages.
  • Development of back-end website applications.
  • Implement core business logic.
  • Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  • Design and develop APIs.
  • Writing clean, functional code on the front- and backend.
  • Compile and analyse data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT.
  • At least 7 years of experience in back-end frameworks and languages, such as: Java (JDK11 or higher), WebLogic (version 12.2 or later).
  • At least 7 years of experience in database technology using Oracle (version 19c or later).
  • At least 5 years of experience in front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • At least 5 years of experience in JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular (including AngularJS) and Bootstrap.
  • At least 5 years of experience in continuous integration methodologies, frameworks and tools (Git, Junit, Mockito…).
  • At least 3 years of experience in use of full-text search tools such as Elasticsearch.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
