Job description:

The Supply Chain Discipline Manager - Procurement leads and manages the team of Project Procurement Leads & Buyers.

As SCDM,

• You are responsible for developing and maintaining the team skill sets.
• You are accountable for allocating resources to projects in your remit to ensure that supply chain activities are completed as per schedule, quality and safety requirements.
• You take ownership of all activities within your perimeter in accordance with company procedures and governance.
• You understand and manage / balance (multiple) projects demands and requirements of resource capabilities including ensuring that staff is adequately skilled to achieve the deliverables including providing opportunities, proper training of the teams in relevant areas of expertise aligned with current and future business needs, implementing development action plans and proactively address team performance matters.
  
  
  

Stakeholder management with the business (projects / operations) and other Resources Centers is key, with proper 3-years resource plan in place supported by team management plan to identify potential, development opportunities and possible replacements for in the near future.

• You provide guidance to the team in order that supply chain activities are properly executed, and risk is mitigated to prevent potential impact on the overall project.
  
  
  

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with an Oil and Gas or EPC company.
• Extensive experience in supply chain management within the oil and gas industry or complex project environment
• Strong knowledge of global supply chain best practices, compliance standards, and risk management
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with skills in training, mentoring, and developing supply chain professionals.
