Background:

• We are Client Retail's Digital Inclusive Design, Equity, & Accessibility Centre of Expertise (Digital IDEA Coe). The purpose is to ensure that all Client Retail digital experiences and products meet the needs of diverse customers and coworkers.
• One key foundation area is about digital accessibility and ensuring compliance w/WCAG standards. We need an experienced accessibility practitioner to support our product teams on issues of accessibility. This role needs to be compliant with technical requirements connected to Digital Accessibility.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist client in

• The preferred candidate would come from a UX design and/or engineering background with strong certification in digital accessibility. The person needs to have extensive competence in technical accessibility concepts and tools, and how to incorporate accessibility into digital product development practices and Metrics. And we especially encourage applicants who use assistive technologies personally and professionally to apply.

Requirements:

• Expert level in assessments, audits (WCAG).
• Strategy experience in leading and advising companies.
• Expert knowledge in metrics and outcomes connected to Digital Accessibility.
