Cyber Security Architect

Role Description:

As a Cybersecurity (CS) Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing security solutions such as PKI, IDS, Secure Boot, and other cybersecurity measures. You will work on conceptual security solutions, define architectural topology, write cybersecurity attribute requirements, and provide guidelines for ECU-level security.

Your role includes executing the vehicle Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), considering E/E architecture, project topology, and system interfaces. You will drive cybersecurity projects, define project timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure on-time security feature implementation. Strong project management skills are essential to oversee the Key Management System (KMS) implementation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security solutions including PKI, IDS, Secure Boot.
• Define cybersecurity architecture and allocate security attribute requirements at the ECU level.
• Conduct vehicle TARA, assess security risks, and define mitigation strategies.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities with cross-functional teams.
• Define and track cybersecurity project timelines and deliverables.
• Drive Key Management System (KMS) implementation across the organization.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture and embedded engineering.
• Strong understanding of PKI (onboard and offboard), IDS, Secure Boot, and Key Management Systems.
• Experience in TARA execution and cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirement system engineering.
• Expertise in E/E architecture, communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN).
• Proven experience in writing cybersecurity requirements based on industry standards.
• Ability to lead cybersecurity projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with type approval for UNECE R155.
• Experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or Architect in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Vector cybersecurity solutions.
• Experience designing SecOC on J1939 and LIN.
