Backend Developer

In this role, you will work closely with our existing AEM and Magento (back-end) team. You have hands-on experience with Adobe AEM and DAM products, as well as in DTC environments. We operate with both AEM Cloud and on-premise solutions, and practical AEM expertise is highly valued.

– Gather and analyze enterprise content management requirements.

– Contribute to the implementation of custom AEM components, templates, and workflows based on project specifications.

– Participate in configuring and customizing AEM authoring environments, including designing content models, setting permissions, and defining user roles.

– Integrate AEM with external systems and services using APIs and web services, such as Magento.

– Work with AEM templates, OSGi bundles, components, Sling services, and workflows.

– Develop and optimize back-end code for enhanced performance and scalability, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

– Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between back-end functionalities and user interfaces.

– Document technical specifications, workflows, and deployment procedures.

– Stay current with the latest AEM features, industry trends, and best practices to continually improve development processes.

– Adhere to established AEM best practices and resolve issues identified in testing environments.

– Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.

– Update and maintain website features as required.

General Competencies

– Extensive experience throughout the eCommerce lifecycle.

– Advanced knowledge of Adobe AEM, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apache Felix, Apache Sling, and Jackrabbit.

– A strong understanding of modern UI/UX trends.

– Adobe Experience Manager certification is an advantage.

– Educational background in Computer Engineering or a related field.
