Student analyst – Carbon and renewable energy markets

We are constantly looking for students to join our carbon and renewable energy analytics team in Oslo. If you are interested in applying your university skills to practice and have a genuine interest in peeking into the future of energy and carbon markets, this is for you.

We are looking for a broad range of support, including a study background in engineering, statistics, mathematics, political science, economy, or similar subjects.

You will have the opportunity to make a significant difference for all our clients.

What You Will Do

As a student analyst at Veyt, you will work on your own tasks and projects, develop your own ideas and will contribute significantly to our products. You work closely with our experienced analyst team to create and shape our modelling environment, maintain and improve our analysis platform or research the latest developments on the policy side.

We offer our students a high degree of flexibility, accounting for your university schedule – you can organize your working hours independently.

Typical work includes data management and validation, data research, writing analytical reports, preparation and participation in meetings, workshops and webinars, and support in the improvement of our predictive models. Your work will give you exposure to Veyt’s comprehensive research, data, and tools, as well as our can-do culture, performing different types of analysis to extract relevant insights/findings.

We seek enthusiastic students who aim to advance their knowledge, skills and careers in data and policy analytics and insights of carbon and renewable energy markets. Ideally, you have some prior knowledge of environmental and/or energy markets and policy.
