About the Role:

Job Title: Network Engineer III

Position Overview:

We need an experienced Network Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and supporting IP and Optical Networks. The candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network infrastructure issues, incident response capabilities, and hands-on experience with network maintenance, escalation handling, and vendor collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Maintenance & Troubleshooting – Diagnose and resolve complex issues in IP and Optical backbone networks while ensuring minimal downtime.
• Incident Response & Escalations – Participate in an on-call rotation, handling escalations (including weekends and holidays).
• Collaboration & Vendor Management – Work closely with internal engineers and external vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Infinera, Nokia, Arista) to optimize network performance.
• Network Documentation & Reporting – Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, performance reports, and incident resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure operations, design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of IP and Optical networks (DWDM, BGP, network routing protocols).
• CCNA certification (must-have).
• Experience in incident response & escalation management.
• Hands-on experience with vendor hardware: Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Infinera, Nokia, Arista.
• Ability to drive resolutions independently with initiative and problem-solving skills.

Locations: Denver, CO

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100K– $120K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
