Product Designer

As our first Product Designer, you'll have the opportunity to develop design systems and processes from the ground up, working closely with our Product and Engineering teams. You'll focus on enhancing the user experience of Appfarm Create, our innovative platform that empowers users to build advanced, tailored software using only a web browser and without writing a single line of code. In this role, you'll create new product experiences that strike the perfect balance between user experience, commercial requirements, and technical feasibility.

Your Main Tasks And Areas Of Responsibility Will Be

• Establish design processes and systems that enhance product development.
• Advocate for the user across the overall user experience in Appfarm Create, from mapping out user journeys to designing UI and other visuals.
• Take a powerful tool for developers and work to improve and ensure the quality of the user experience.
• Balance the needs of both beginner and experienced Appfarm developers and help build a product that guides them on that journey.
• Work with developers and our existing frameworks to ensure consistent user experiences across the product.
  
  

To Succeed In This Role, We Believe You Have

• Experience from similar roles, preferably in a SaaS/Product company.
• A pragmatic approach to product design, balancing the business needs, technical implications and practicality of our designs.
• The ability to balance speed and value in your work.
• Expertise in Figma.
• Experience with user testing and designing interactive user experiences
• Experience from startup or scale-up environments will be considered a plus.
• Strong skills in English.
