Well established State Government Organization is looking for an experienced Scrum Master

Hybrid working model | ASAP to March '25 + possible extension | Melbourne CBD

About the Organization

You will be part of a well established Victorian State Government Organization that works on regulating safety, compliance, accreditation and registration for the bus, maritime and commercial passenger vehicle industries.

About the role

• The Scrum Master is accountable for the Scrum Team’s effectiveness and to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework.
• Plans and manages the delivery of small and medium scale projects and is accountable for active management with the Product Owner, Scrum Team and governance environment of resources, budget, risks, issues and schedule within agreed tolerances.
• Supports the Product Owner in the identification and management of business change impacts.
• Supports the Product Owner in managing the expectations of all stakeholders including influencing key stakeholders, negotiation on resources and competing priorities.
• Monitors and reports on the progress of projects, using approved tools, templates and processes.
• Coaches and influences executives, leaders, business units and technology teams on agile principles, values.
• Ensure that agile practice aligns with defined business needs, enterprise, solution and technical architecture.
• Certified Scrum Master
• SAFe certifications are highly desirable
