Service Reliability Engineer

Actively manage and optimize monitoring systems, ensuring comprehensive observability of production environments. Lead incident response, conduct postmortem analysis, and implement preventive measures. Define, maintain, and improve high-availability architectures and disaster recovery plans. Optimize system performance, forecast capacity requirements, and ensure scalability. Implement automated solutions for operational tasks and system efficiency. Improve deployment automation and CI/CD pipeline optimizations for reliability. Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices for IoT and MES environments. Utilize Elasticsearch, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ to manage and analyze large-scale data. Work with MQTT, AMQP, and HTTP to ensure reliable IoT data communication. Perform database administration tasks for PostgreSQL, ensuring performance tuning, backup strategies, and query optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production environments
• Strong experience with monitoring and alerting systems for production reliability
• Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters (Rancher, AKS) and containerized workloads
• Advanced scripting skills in Python and Go for automation and optimization
• Knowledge of distributed messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform for automation
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure operations
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ for data monitoring and performance optimization
• Expertise in PostgreSQL DBA tasks including database tuning, query optimization, backup strategies, and high-availability configurations
• Proficiency in IoT messaging protocols including MQTT, AMQP, and HTTP
