The Validation/Characterization Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments are powered by a passion for continual improvement. Our solutions make a real difference and yours will, too. In this role, you’ll serve in development and implementation of cost-effective analog test techniques, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitate cross-functional teams for problem solving. You will collaborate with Analog Design on design-for-test features and Applications team on validation.

In this role, you’ll serve in development and implementation of cost-effective analog test techniques, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitate cross-functional teams for problem solving. You will collaborate with Analog Design on design-for-test features and Applications team on validation.
Responsibilities Include
- Testing of integrated circuits or electronic systems in the laboratory environment.
- Support prototype debugging and troubleshooting to identify device issues.
- Analyze measurement results and correlate the measurement between ATE (Automated Test Equipment ) and bench.
- Develop efficient and sometimes complex automated tests and hardware to validate functionality and measure electrical characteristics of DC/DC converters.
- Currently pursuing MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Systems, or related degree with coursework or experience in Power electronics or Analog circuit analysis
- Proficiency with bench level test equipment (i.e. DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters)
- Good written and verbal proficiency in English
- Classroom and/or real world experience with LabView, Python, TestStand or MATLAB strongly preferred
- Experience with Embedded Systems is a plus
- Demonstrated information collection, review and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
