Data Analyst/ Senior Data Analyst

Job Purpose: The Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst will play a key executive role in delivering strategic business initiatives across the bank. This position will be responsible for aligning business needs with technology solutions, ensuring business strategies are effectively implemented, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage deep industry knowledge, data analysis expertise

Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Engagement
2. Business Requirements and Analysis
3. Utilise data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to analyse large data sets. · Design analytical structures to identify key trends, opportunities, and risks based on the analysis of internal and external data. · Design reports and dashboards with required metrics. · Enable data-driven decision-making in the bank. · Efficiently design, data Products for consumers and Analytical marts for analytical units within organization
4. Work with risk and compliance teams to assess how new initiatives impact the bank’s risk profile. · Implement best practices for regulatory

Experience:

· 5 to 10 years of industry experience in the financial services industry, with atleast 3 years as Business Analyst.

· Proven track record of managing complex, high-impact projects within a banking environment.

· Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial reporting within a banking context.

Skills & Competencies: · Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and financial regulations. · Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose innovative solutions. · Proficiency in data analysis, including experience with SQL, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data modeling. · Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. · Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
