About Your Future Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Administrator with a strong technical or DevOps background to join our dynamic team.. Collaborating closely with our DevOps team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications. Your role will involve implementing best practices, fine-tuning configurations, troubleshooting issues, and being responsible for compliance with different card organization requirements.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Proactively monitor and maintain the performance, reliability, and security of internal applications and databases on a daily basis.
• Create and implement best practice routines for end users and application developers to optimize application performance and security.
• Provide timely and effective support for help desk requests, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
• Provide regular project status and estimates to the management.
• Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified applications.
• Maintain system documentation.
• Responsible for payment applications.
• Keep application up to date (according to scheme rules).
• Testing applications
• Creating analysis and provide change requirements to software developers.
• Participate in comfort testing.
• Onboarding new customers.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application administration, preferably within the issuing and/or acquiring field.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting
• Proven experience with leading monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Grafana, and others.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git, container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Location, based in Estonia.
  
  

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

• Familiarity with ISO-8583 standards for financial transaction messaging.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.
• Ability and desire to acquire new knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
