As a Senior Kubernetes administrator, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Estonia. Together, we work on infrastructure projects including Kubernetes platforms implementation and support.

About Your Future Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will lead the management, maintenance, and enhancement of our Kubernetes infrastructure.

Collaborating closely with our DevOps team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our Kubernetes clusters. Your role will involve implementing best practices, fine-tuning configurations, troubleshooting issues, and providing expert leadership in Kubernetes architecture and operations.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters
• Perform upgrades, patches and maintenance tasks on Kubernetes
• Implement and maintain security policies, ACL and compliance requirements for Kubernetes
• Monitor cluster health, performance, capacity and implement proactive measures to optimize performance and resource utilization
• Provide guidance and mentorship for other team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Kubernetes administration, including designing, deploying, and managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Well developed understanding of containerization concepts and technologies (Docker, container runtimes, virtualization).
  
  

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Rancher is a plus
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing) and network security principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such is a plus.
