Senior and Lead Developer - Helsinki and Tampere - FINNISH SPEAKING

Our clients goal is to be a digital pioneer in our industry. That's why they are now looking for two Senior Energy Management System Developers and a Lead, for permanent employment in their Software Engineering unit!

As a software developer, you will be able to work at the heart of their energy production optimisation and control and the wholesale electricity market. This work is a key part of their strategy, and are now building an in-house development team to develop the entity.

In your role:

• You will work as a senior developer in a team that develops their energy management system (EHJ) solution package. EHJ consists of several different product-based and self-built components
• You will participate in the development and maintenance of high-quality software components
• You will ensure that the implemented solutions have sufficient technical monitoring to support stable production
• You will also be involved in building their software development practices and culture

We hope that you already have strong skills and work experience:

• C# about programming
• Modern software development methods and practices
• Time series data processing and SQL
• Developing APIs and implementing integrations
• Azure and Azure DevOps are a big plus

In addition, the following competencies are an advantage for success in the position:

• OT (operation technology) environments (and technologies such as OPC, virtual servers, Windows servers)
• Telecommunications networks
• On the functioning of the wholesale physical electricity market
• SCADA systems

In their development work, we commonly utilize technologies such as Typescript, Python FastAPI, Github, PowerBI, Azure cloud services, and event-based architecture.
