Telecom Project Manager (SIP)

We are looking for one of our clients in Luxembourg for a 6-month mission.

Required Competencies and Qualifications

Project Management Competencies:

• Planning & Execution: Develop migration plans, define timelines, track deliverables.
• Risk & Change Management: Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with telecom providers, IT teams, business leaders.
• Budget & Cost Management: Manage costs, ensure ROI on SIP solutions.
• Vendor Management: Oversee RFPs, select providers, negotiate contracts.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, report progress.
• Telecom Transition: Understand best practices for decommissioning and SIP architecture.

Telecommunications & VoIP Knowledge:

• ISDN/PSTN Decommissioning: Understand phase-out of E1/T1 lines, analog circuits.
• SIP Trunking & VoIP: Implement SIP trunks, VoIP gateways.
• Telephony Integration: Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Phone, Cisco Webex Calling, Zoom Phone, on-prem PBX systems.
• Number Portability: Ensure smooth number migration, call routing.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to telecom regulations, emergency calling requirements.
• Network Readiness: Assess QoS, latency, jitter, bandwidth requirements.

Security & Resilience:

• SIP Security: Implement TLS encryption, SRTP, firewall rules.
• DDoS & Fraud Prevention: Protect against VoIP toll fraud, denial-of-service attacks.
• High Availability: Design redundant architectures with failover mechanisms.
• Disaster Recovery: Ensure alternative communication paths during outages.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 7-10 years in telecommunications project management.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or related field. Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM) and relevant telecom certifications (CCNP Collaboration, Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, SSCA, Avaya, Mitel).
• Languages : French and English
