System Test Engineer within Automotive

We are looking for a System Test Engineer within Automotive to be part of our journey when we expand our businesses.
What you'll do
Join CabinAir and revolutionize clean air in cars as a Systems Test Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming stakeholder requirements and expectations into system test requirements for verification and validation. You will lead system testing activities, ensuring structure and coherence across product variants and customer specifications. Acting as a quality gate, you will ensure that deliverables from design partners and suppliers meet the highest standards before reaching our customers.
Overall responsibilities:
- Collaborative leadership: Support, inform, and clarify target product performance and characteristics to be verified and validated. Guide engineers with your expertise and best practices.
- Requirements understanding: Evaluate the feasibility and applicability of requirements through cross-functional analysis of product design and applicable standards, translating them into system verification and validation tests.
- Requirements control: Ensure structured traceability and control between requirements, verification, and validation, leveraging internal tools for support.
- Customer engagement: Lead alignment with customers and suppliers on system functions, performance, requirements, and expectations.
Who you are
As a person, you have the ability to get things done, with a strong focus on customer needs and a passion for delivering high-quality standards. It is important that you have excellent collaborative skills and take the initiative to solve tasks. The position requires that you are thorough, structured, and can express yourself clearly in English, both orally and in writing.
Qualifications:
- Academic degree in engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in systems test engineering, preferably within the automotive industry or other regulated industries with high standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- An electronic hardware/software background is a plus
- Prior experience in system verification of embedded systems is also an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in both written- and oral English
You will report to Head of R&D, with daily interactions with the R&D team in Sweden and China as well as PMO, Operations and Sales & Marketing.
