What You’ll Do For Us

The Istanbul Juice satellite lab, located in Istanbul is a satellite lab, associated to the Coca-Cola Company’s Research and Development Center based in Belgium, overseeing the development of new beverages and retail equipment innovation for Europe, Eurasia, Middle East and Africa.

We are looking for a R&D intern to assist all R&D activities in laboratory in product development, innovation, reformulation and value optimization projects, mainly in the juice category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operational activities in the lab including ingredient & expenditure stock replenishment, sample shipment coordination, equipment maintenance plans, Order ingredients to conduct lab trials etc.
  • Support in the development of prototypes at lab scale
  • Conduct laboratory analyses of ingredients and beverages
  • Measure analytical properties of prototypes
  • Experimental work on formulation optimization and product quality improvement
  • Ensure that samples and ingredients are properly labelled/stored, that safety guidelines are followed and help maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
  • Filling accurately internal databases for stability tracking, formula database, project management tools.
  • Conduct literature research and document the findings in a well-organized way
  • Continuous curiosity on competition activities and strategy and trends in the category, identifying growth opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master students in Food Technology, Food Science
  • Currently a 3rd year University degree student with a planned graduation in 2026 or a master’s degree student
  • Knowledge and working experience of laboratory activities, analytical instruments (pH, acidity, brix etc.)
  • Able to come to the office at least 3 days a week.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Must be a creative mind and have a passion for beverage industry
  • Disciplined and attentive
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication and project management skills
  • Fast learner and able to work autonomously in a multicultural environment

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management
