Job Summary
As a Business Development Generalist, you will play a critical role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to the overall growth strategy. This is a cross-functional role suited for someone with broad business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue business opportunities with crypto projects, token issuers, and institutional clients (e.g., asset managers, private equity firms, tokenization platforms).
- Build relationships with crypto-native companies, blockchain ecosystems, and traditional financial institutions exploring tokenization.
- Promote security token issuance, tokenized asset solutions, and other crypto-native financial products (e.g., DeFi, stablecoins, on-chain funds).
- Coordinate with product and legal teams to design compliant token structures (e.g., security tokens, stablecoins, real-world assets).
- Support partnership development with key industry stakeholders (custodians, exchanges, technology providers, compliance partners).
- Prepare and deliver presentations, pitch decks, and client proposals tailored to the crypto and security token use cases.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and blockchain meetups to build the company’s presence and generate business leads.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with leads, pipeline management, and partnership progress.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in an operations role, preferably in the crypto, fintech, or tech industries.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and industry trends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (optional).
- Languages: English and German (both don’t need to be native)
