YOE: 1-3 yrs of experience

Location: remote, 5 days/week

Industry experience: Product based

The StoreFront Engineering team focuses on creating personalized discovery and seamless purchase experiences across multiple product lines, including:
• Food Delivery
• Instant Commerce
• Genie and Stores

We build and manage:
• Client-facing applications
• Smart cataloging & category intelligence systems
• Personalized search & merchandising experiences
• Payment and pricing solutions
• Order management systems

We seek SDE I candidates who:
• Have experience in building reliable, distributed systems
• Are skilled in database design and optimization
• Have knowledge of Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling (a plus)



Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance distributed systems
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to translate ideas into technical solutions
• Optimize database performance and create efficient data structures
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions
• Experiment with new technologies and drive innovation within the team
• Own the end-to-end architecture of both new and existing products
• Select and implement technology stacks, tools, and frameworks



Skills & Qualifications
• 1–3 years of software development experience
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Proficient in Object-Oriented programming languages (Java or Golang preferred)
• Hands-on experience with web technologies:
• Java, Spring, Python, Linux, Apache
• MySQL, Solr, Memcache, Redis
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience working on high-performance services handling large-scale traffic (a plus)
