About the Role: Role will be based either in Melbourne/Sydney



Key Details:

  • Direct Reports: 10
  • Key Stakeholders: GOS Team, GTO Team, Sales Team, APAC Leadership Team, Finance Team, Customers


Role Purpose:

As a Senior Program Manager, you will oversee the Program Management (PM) team in APAC and drive the end-to-end delivery of new payment solutions across the region. You will collaborate with Ingenico’s senior executives, internal and external cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure successful execution within budget, scope, and timelines.

This role requires strong leadership in managing complex programs, ensuring smooth execution while mitigating risks and continuously improving delivery outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


Program & Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of payment solutions, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence.
  • Develop and manage program roadmaps, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, operations, and sales teams to align priorities and execution strategies.
  • Provide full project life cycle management, setting high delivery standards.
  • Ensure effective communication with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Monitor program KPIs, risks, and performance to drive successful delivery.
  • Improve delivery outcomes through continuous process optimization.


Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related activities.
  • Align internal teams on technical, operational, and business requirements.
  • Engage with external vendors and partners to facilitate seamless integration and deployment.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between global and regional teams.


Solution Delivery & Implementation

  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements in APAC.
  • Work closely with technology teams to oversee development, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Implement best practices in Agile and hybrid program management methodologies.
  • Support change management initiatives to drive operational readiness.


Financial & Performance Management

  • Manage program budgets effectively to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Track performance metrics and continuously improve delivery processes.
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize solution implementation.


Team Management

  • Lead and manage the APAC Professional Services team and P&L.
  • Support pre-sales activities by providing solution guidance and subject matter expertise.
  • Ensure Professional Services engagements align with scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Secure access to new solutions that enhance Ingenico’s offerings.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful program execution, meeting business and client objectives.
  • Profitable and high-value project deliveries that drive customer satisfaction.
  • Recognized as a trusted advisor for clients, strengthening long-term relationships.
  • Revenue growth through opportunity identification and proposal conversions.


Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Proven experience in program management, preferably in payments, fintech, or cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the payment ecosystem, including payment technologies, embedded applications, and web-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-value & complex project deliveries within a technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
  • Expertise in cloud payment solutions, APIs, and enterprise payment systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project Management Skills: Agile, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies experience.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of APAC payments regulations.
  • Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with executives.


Core Requirements

  • Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PRINCE2
  • Agile (SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent)
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience in financial institutions, fintech, or payment processing companies.


Compliance & Information Security

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring workplace safety.
  • Comply with Ingenico’s policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with information security guidelines.
  • Report privacy or security breaches promptly.
