We are seeking a talented Firmware Engineer to join our client's team. This role is an exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge medical devices that have a real impact on patient care and healthcare innovation.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing firmware for embedded systems in medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and regulatory specialists, to bring innovative healthcare solutions to market.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC, MSP430, etc.).
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, NFC).
- Experience with low-power design and battery-operated devices.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Python or embedded Linux development.
- Understanding of medical device software development standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
- Knowledge of secure firmware development practices (secure boot, encryption, authentication).
- Experience with AI/ML on embedded devices.
