Full Stack Engineer

What You'll Do

Design, build, and scale server-side applications that support ambitious growth initiatives, particularly in handling high volumes of data and user traffic.
Develop visually appealing and highly functional data-heavy web applications.
Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability, ensuring robust infrastructure and efficient data management.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services to extend and enhance application functionalities, ensuring seamless data synchronization and system integration.
Deploy applications on Linux servers, with a strong emphasis on AWS for cloud services.
Monitor and optimize server performance to maintain high uptime and quick load times, addressing any issues proactively.
Rapidly prototype MVPs and lightweight PoCs to validate ideas based on growth hacking strategies and data-driven hypotheses before committing to full-scale development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Designers, Product Managers, Developers, Analysts, and Marketers.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to non-technical team members.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Suggest and implement improvements to our web development processes.

Your Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in JavaScript development.
Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
Proficient in server-side development, with a strong preference for Node.js.
Proven experience in scaling projects, including:
Handling high volumes of users or data.
Expanding infrastructure.
Developing and scaling online marketplaces.
Implementing a wide range of features and business enhancements.
Strong ability in Linux server setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, is required.
Ideally, candidates will have a comprehensive full-stack background. Applicants with primary strength in backend development and some front-end skills are also considered.
