This Financial Services client is kicking off a new project on their broker platform. As part of this newly created project team, they require a Technical Project Manager.
Working alongside BA’s and business side PM’s, your responsibility will be to oversee the technical stream of the project. Note - this is not a developer role, but one that oversees the technical workload.
Subject Matter is very important here, so it is essential you have prior experience working in environments/projects such as – Lending, Loan Origination, Mortgages, Broker platforms, Commissions etc.
Skill set / Experience need –
- The Tech PM for project Broker will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a new Brokerage product alongside existing Commission and Consumer Loan products.
- You will oversee the end-to-end technology development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution architecture, development, testing, integration and the leadership of a cross-functional team comprising business analysts and technical resources.
- This role requires close collaboration with the Business Project Manager, the Technology Program Manager, Business Analyst, and other key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a high-quality solution on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of financial products and lending platforms, with prior experience in Chattel Mortgage or Brokerage products being highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with origination platforms is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in Tech PM roles within mid-to-large Financial Services organisations.
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions, including product delivery and system integration.
- Ensure all requirements align with business objectives and project goals.
- Oversee the design of scalable and sustainable solutions within the existing platforms.
- Oversee the development a comprehensive architecture that accommodates both Brokerage and Commission products while ensuring end-to-end integration with origination and contract management systems.
- Strong experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of system integration, software development and solution architecture within Financial Services platforms.
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g. Monday.com, JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
The company offers a flexible workplace (2/3 WFH), with the employment engagement starting as a 12-month fixed term contract with the view to go perm.
