To perform in this role, we would like you to have:

• Understanding of React concepts like Virtual DOM, Component lifecycle, State and Props, Hooks, Context API, Error boundaries, and Higher-Order Components;
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model;
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux);
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token;
• Knowledge of performance optimization in React, using tools like React Profiler React.memo, useMemo, useCallback, etc;
• Ability to write modular and testable code. This means the code should be organized in such a way that units of code (like functions or components) can be tested independently.

Nice to have:

• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client for managing application state and connecting your application to your GraphQL API is a plus;
• Experience with handling real-time data using WebSockets/SSE and managing offline users in React applications;
• Familiarity with the TDD approach is often beneficial. In TDD, developers write the tests before the code, which can lead to more robust and well-thought-out software.
