We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Lead DevOps Engineer to connect strategic, tactical, and operational consulting.

This role involves advising clients on comprehensive optimization of their SDLC, technology landscape, and processes, while delivering actionable recommendations to enhance engineering productivity. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and SonarQube, along with skills in managing and optimizing cloud resources and infrastructure.

This role is fully remote and can be performed from any city in Poland.

Responsibilities

Connect strategic, tactical, and operational consulting dimensions
Advise clients to optimize their SDLC, technology landscape, and processes
Pinpoint opportunities and deliver practical, actionable recommendations to boost engineering productivity
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Rundeck, GitLab, Artifactory, and SonarQube for seamless software delivery
Manage and enhance cloud resources, including VMs, Redis, Logic and FunctionApps, ARM templates, Storage Account, and related infrastructures
Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform and configuration tools like Ansible and AWX for consistent infrastructure deployments
Apply scripting capabilities in bash/shell for task automation and troubleshooting while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors for integration

Requirements

Several years of experience across industries such as manufacturing, life sciences, retail, or financial services
Background in roles such as solution architect, enterprise architect, developer, or DevOps engineer with hands-on experience across diverse technology stacks and scripting languages like bash and IaC/Terraform/Cloudformation
Strong client communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences
Capability to present balanced technology recommendations, analysis, and solution designs to clients for successful transformation projects
Fluency in English
Conceptual thinking paired with the ability to operationalize ideas
Familiarity with version control systems and branching strategies
Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and GitLab pipelines, as well as configuration tools like Ansible
Solid background in managing development, staging, and production environments
Competency in working with container technologies
Good understanding of networking and infrastructure systems
Expertise in build scripts and CI/CD concepts and their application
Comprehensive perspective from business requirements gathering to deployment, operations, and monitoring
Flexibility to engage in pre-sales processes, including rapid conceptual designs, proof-of-concepts, and delivering client presentations
