Job Title: Oracle Hyperion - Technical consultant - MAN

Location: Oman

Duration: 16 Months contract

Job Description

Minimum 8 years of extensive experience in Hyperion implementation.

Not a support consultant nor a member of the implementation team for the application nor rollout implementation team member. The candidate must have implemented Oracle Hyperion:

The candidate should have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Hyperion Planning and related Oracle EPM solutions to streamline financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

The candidate must have implemented Oracle Hyperion

Minimum 4 implementation: cycle from start – installation, requirement gathering, documentation, configuration, training, testing to Go-Live.

Minimum 2 implementation: should be with the public sector, government, SIFMIS, IFMIS, or GIFMIS including, knowledge on pre-budget processes/activities for generating budget ceiling, issuance of budget call circular, budget process management/workflow and report building using Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Install & Setup Oracle Hyperion Planning

Manage Cloning and Migration of Planning application across various environments

Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, meeting etc. to understand business requirement and configure the system in line with the business requirements.

Develop and maintains planning data entry forms.

Develop and maintain business rules

Manage Dimension Hierarchies

Configure Role Based Access Security (RBAC)

Develop and maintain task lists, calculation scripts and reports to support business requirements for planning cycles and reporting goals in the Hyperion Planning.

Manage Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Strategy Finance, SmartView, DRM and Reporting.

Design and maintain all Hyperion financial reports

Create/modify, test and promote Planning/Essbase reports/scripts/data entry forms to meet the needs of the business.

Provides support and technical assistance to end users of Workspace and Smart view for Planning and Essbase/Reporting.

Configure Workflow approvals/Process Management.

Integrate Hyperion with Oracle EBS using FDMEE

Conducted user acceptance testing and involved in every phase of implementation.

Extensively used workspace for reporting, management, query and analysis for various data sources.

Provide end to end documentation related to complete the installation and implementation of the Hyperion planning application. This includes deliverables attached to each phase of the project.

Effectively and accurately communicate with management regarding project status, issue identification and remediation.

Experience working in a team-orientated environment

Having strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and excellent communication Other duties may be assigned.

Technical Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

Data Relationship Management (DRM), Essbase, SQL

Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)

Demonstrate ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization

The ability to work closely with users to understand business needs and tailor solutions to those requirements.

8+ years’ experience with Oracle Hyperion planning.

Experience with ETL and Analytics applications is preferred.

Maintain a positive can-do attitude and proactively reach out to users to provide solutions to issues.

Must have technical experience with the following:

Oracle FDMEE/ODI – Experience with Oracle tool ETL tool, used mostly for our data migration from Oracle EBS into Hyperion
