Middle Security Integration Specialist

We are seeking a Security Integration Specialist with competencies in Apigee API Gateway, Snowflake integration, ETL, GCP IAM, and Secret Management.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing secure integrations across various platforms. This position calls for comprehensive technical knowledge in API security, data access control, and cloud-based identity management.

Responsibilities


  • Ensure secure and efficient integrations by managing APIs using Apigee API Gateway
  • Facilitate seamless and secure data exchange across systems during partner integrations
  • Enforce best security practices while managing secure credentials via GCP IAM and Secret Management
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency by normalizing partner data for integration with Snowflake
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Develop and enforce access control policies in line with security and regulatory standards
  • Enhance ETL processes for efficient and secure data transformation and storage
  • Identify integration security risks and develop strategies for mitigation
  • Document security configurations, access policies, and integration processes comprehensively


Requirements


  • Proficiency in Apigee API Gateway for API security and management
  • Background in Snowflake integration and ETL processes for secure data handling
  • Deep understanding of GCP IAM and Secret Management for access control and credential security
  • Experience with IAM solutions and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Familiarity with secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth, JWT, and API key management
  • Capability to troubleshoot security vulnerabilities and implement corresponding remediation strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on security and compliance
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional teamwork
