Software Engineer – Product Demos

Contract Position | 3-Month Duration | Remote

About the Opportunity:

Our client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help develop a set of demo websites, productivity apps, and third-party integrations. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the demo team, product department, and technical partners to build new customer solutions, showcase products, and introduce integrations in areas such as search, analytics, eCommerce, marketing, and AI.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong development skills and experience in delivering successful digital products. You should be comfortable producing clean, well-documented code, optimizing performance and resilience, and applying automation techniques. Additionally, a strong sense of system design and proactive problem-solving skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

As part of this project, you will:

• Drive the implementation of new product features by writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Scale demo assets by working on design systems, component libraries, and configuration scripts.
• Create and maintain test automation to support continuous integration and development velocity.
• Optimize editorial workflows by integrating marketplace apps and transforming desired capabilities into custom applications.
• Integrate popular third-party services, including DAMs, eCommerce, analytics, personalization, translation, and AI.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 6+ years of software development and/or systems engineering experience.
• Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• A solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Extensive experience working with modern APIs, including GraphQL.
• A strong grasp of CI/CD workflows and DevOps best practices.
• Familiarity with end-to-end testing strategies and tools.
• An innate curiosity and the ability to empathize with end users.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts in an accessible way.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with popular testing suites.
• Experience developing and scaling complex applications.
• Exposure to generative AI in production environments.
• Previous experience shipping customer-facing products.
