Network Architect

My Client are a forward-thinking, innovative company, focused on streamlining operations and integrating cutting-edge technologies to stay ahead of industry trends. As they continue to scale and enhance their network infrastructure, they are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of there network systems, with a strong focus on Azure cloud services, security, and supporting my clients manufacturing environment.

There will be some onsite presence required in Milan with this role.

Position Overview:

As a Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of my clients network infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, efficient, and scalable. You will leverage your expertise in designing solutions that meet the unique needs of there business while supporting high-performance production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures using Azure cloud services and Zscaler security technologies.
• Lead the deployment and management of cloud network solutions to support critical manufacturing operations.
• Optimize network performance to ensure minimal downtime and maximum availability across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with business needs and operational goals.
• Design secure network protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards for manufacturing environments.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide ongoing support for optimization and scaling.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure network security and compliance.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends in cloud networking, security, and manufacturing technology.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Network Architect or in a similar network design and architecture role.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including virtual networking, Azure Firewall, and VPN configurations.
• Ideally some experience with Zscaler.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Zscaler Certified Specialist, Cisco Certified Network Professional).
• Experience with automation tools and network monitoring platforms.
• Familiarity with hybrid network environments and interconnecting cloud/on-premise infrastructure.
