Senior Network Engineer (Enterprise Project Delivery)

I am Vaidas Kantakevičius, Team Manager of the Network Project Delivery Team at Telia Lietuva. Our team is responsible for delivering network projects for Telia Lietuva’s internal and commercial clients. We support a variety of enterprise network environments, ensuring robust and secure connectivity across businesses of all sizes.

We are looking for an experienced and structured Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

As a Senior Network Engineer you will...

you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of enterprise network projects. Your key focus will be on breaking down complex projects into structured steps, following best practices, and ensuring successful delivery.

The main responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure. You will manage expectations and communicate clearly with stakeholders, identify and troubleshoot challenges during project execution to ensure timely resolution, and maintain up-to-date documentation aligned with delivery standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve smooth deployments.

Who We’re Looking For

You have a strong background in networking and a structured approach to project execution. You can break down network projects into clear steps and follow through on them. When faced with blockers, you take initiative to find solutions instead of getting stuck.

We expect you to have strong knowledge of IP networking and L2/L3 protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and BGP. You should have hands-on experience with firewalls, specifically Fortigate and Palo Alto, and experience working with enterprise network equipment such as Cisco, Fortinet, HP/Aruba, and Mikrotik. A good understanding of Wi-Fi systems and wireless networking principles is essential, along with experience in deploying and configuring network equipment in a production environment. Additionally, you should have good documentation skills and the ability to follow structured processes. Fluency in Lithuanian and English (spoken and written) is also required.

While not mandatory, it is nice to have experience with network automation (Python, Ansible), familiarity with cloud networking technologies, experience in network project delivery, and relevant network certifications

Monthly salary range for this position: 3043 - 4565 EUR before tax deduction. . Additionally, each Telia Lithuania employee receives additional employee benefits package.
