About The Job

Dadosfera, a leader in Data & AI Platform Solutions, is seeking top talent in Data Engineering. As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll work on Data & Analytics projects for some of the largest startups and corporations in the country. We’re looking for someone passionate about data, eager to work autonomously with cutting-edge technologies, and ready to create impactful solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work on Big Data projects and learn from industry-leading professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects to ensure the highest data quality and deliver valuable insights.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve data pipelines and cloud platforms using DataOps and Data Engineering expertise.
• Participate in architecture decisions, mitigate technical debt, and engage in agile methodology practices.
• Contribute to internal training and alignment activities at Dadosfera.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, with proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and AWS services (e.g., Redshift, RDS, EMR, Kinesis, Glue).
• Ability to process and transfer data through custom scripts for APIs or files.
• Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
• Advanced English proficiency.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView).
• SQL performance tuning experience.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with database technologies such as Distributed Processing (Spark, Hive), NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and RDBMS (Aurora, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
