Senior Program Manager (m/f/d)

Role Description

• Oversee the delivery of comprehensive programs requiring coordination across business units and investments in areas such as new business product launches, IT software development, technical or network evolution, commercial contracts, and organizational changes.
• Ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards as outlined in the program plan.
• Coordinate work packages and integrate deliverables from experts, including our client or third-party partners.
• Plan milestones, monitor progress, resolve issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between programs/projects and escalate recommendations to executive levels when necessary.
• Manage the program budget, monitor expenditures and costs against deliverables, and conduct post-mortem analyses to verify expected results.
• Ensure quality assurance and overall program integrity by applying the appropriate framework (Waterfall, Agile, ADKAR, etc.) and organizing regular lessons learned.
• Manage customer expectations by identifying and understanding their interests/influences and implementing a proactive communication action plan.
• Manage third-party contributions and establish effective communication channels.
• Organize and execute steering committee meetings to share progress, address critical risks, and obtain decisions from responsible departments.
• Demonstrate strong leadership by guiding and inspiring the program team, ensuring the right skills are onboard, providing training, offering coaching, and conducting regular follow-ups.
• Employ best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning, execution, milestone/deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.
• Proactively align business processes and procedures for ongoing programs to deliver business value efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Management Plan: Develop a detailed program management plan that defines the program's scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring they align with the program's goals.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources across projects, including managing budgets and resource distribution.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and create strategies to mitigate them.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor the progress of projects within the program and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project team members to ensure effective and cohesive project execution.

Program Manager Profile

• You hold a Master's degree and have over 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the telecommunications sector.
• Experience working in an incubation team is a plus.
• Development experience in APIs is a plus.
• You can deliver complex programs on time, within budget, and with high quality.
• You have the ability to lead, persuade, and motivate people who do not report directly to you.
• You have experience integrating complex program planning from different backgrounds (our client planning versus third-party planning).
• You possess proven project management skills and the ability to establish projects.
• In addition to your drive for results, you are a natural leader and an excellent communicator.
• You have strong negotiation skills and can effectively challenge upper management.
• You are experienced in risk/issue management, priority setting, and follow-up.
• You are methodical and proficient in planning.
• Fluent in English.
