Data Scientist Lead

The Role:

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in driving the company's data-centric projects. You will work closely with the Director of Data Technology and the Data Team, spearheading the creation of advanced predictive models, enhancing bidding strategies, and refining audience targeting. Additionally, you will guide junior team members and play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making to foster innovation within the company.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in a Senior or Lead Data science position, ideally within AdTech, MarTech, or a data-heavy environment.
• Proficiency in Machine Learning and statistical modeling techniques.
• Strong programming abilities in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Expertise in SQL for querying and optimizing large datasets.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure); knowledge of AWS S3, Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and Redshift is advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of big data processing and distributed computing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on achieving business impact.
• Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in leading and mentoring data scientists, promoting a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
