Key Responsibilities:

  • Contractor Management:
  • Handle all types of contractor relationships, including onboarding, contract management, and ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Regularly monitor and audit contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
  • Coordinate with contractors for the timely submission of invoices, documentation, and ensure proper billing processes.
  • Invoicing and Payment Processing:
  • invoicing process for contractors, ensuring that invoices are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for timely processing of payments.
  • Ensure that all payments are in line with contractual agreements and within the budget.
  • Manpower Handling:
  • Maintain accurate records of the workforce, including contractors, casual workers, and apprentices.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels as per business requirements.
  • Coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure the timely availability of manpower and monitor their productivity and performance.
  • Time Attendance Management:
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of time attendance systems for all manpower (contractors, employees, apprentices).
  • Ensure accurate recording of working hours, overtime, leaves, and other time-off requests.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to timekeeping and attendance in a timely manner.
  • Compliance Management:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESIC), and other labor laws.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to government bodies and statutory authorities for PF, ESIC, and other compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for the regular audits and filing of necessary documentation.
  • Industrial Relations (IR) and Union Relations (UR):
  • Foster and maintain positive Industrial Relations within the organization, addressing issues related to employee satisfaction and union negotiations.
  • Ensure adherence to labor agreements, settlement terms, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • NAPS and Apprenticeship Management:
  • Oversee the administration of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
  • Coordinate with local authorities for the enrollment of apprentices and ensure compliance with NAPS guidelines.
  • Track and monitor the performance and training of apprentices in accordance with NAPS requirements.
  • HR Records & Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive HR records for all contractors and employees, ensuring that documents are up to date and compliant with legal standards.
  • Prepare and maintain all relevant reports related to attendance, leave, PF, ESIC, and union agreements.
  • General HR Support:
  • Assist with any HR-related queries from contractors, staff, or unions.
  • Provide support in audits, investigations, and any other HR-IR related activities.
  • Support in the formulation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
