Job Description
Join our dynamic Cyber Defense Team (CDT) to play a crucial role in protecting our organization's digital assets. The ideal candidate for this role will possess deep knowledge of cybersecurity threats, advanced analytical skills, and a proactive approach to threat detection and response. This role requires a strategic thinker who can anticipate and mitigate security risks, lead complex investigations, and enhance our overall security posture.
As a Cyber Security Analyst, You Will
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
Certifications: Possession of industry-recognized certifications such as GMON, GSEC, GCFA, GCFE is highly desirable.
Technical Expertise
Commitment to Continuous Learning: Must have a passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest security practices, systems, and threats.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, You Will
- Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within Sika's network, systems, and applications by continuously monitoring security tools and analyzing logs and data.
- Utilize threat intelligence to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform in-depth analysis of malicious activities, including malware, phishing, and intrusion attempts.
- Lead incident response efforts, including the identification, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
- Implement measures to prevent future attacks or mitigate their impact. This includes updating or patching systems, configuring security tools, and hardening network defenses.

Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in common tools and technologies used in cyber security operations such as EDR, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, etc.
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and network monitoring including packet analysis.
- Experience with incident response procedures, including identification, containment, and resolution of security incidents.
- Comprehensive knowledge of malware analysis, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Rigorous attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
Commitment to Continuous Learning: Must have a passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest security practices, systems, and threats.
Additional Information
- This position offers Hybrid working conditions and is subject to change at any time.
- Candidate is required to work in the Lyndhurst office 4 days per week with 1 day being remote.
