A leading Australian insurance company is seeking a permanent GRC Analyst to join their Technology Security Team. Based in Brisbane, this role will involve supporting daily security compliance and risk management, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimising governance processes within the organisation.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Security, you will contribute to the development of the security roadmap. Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

• Fostering security awareness across departments and cultivating relationships
• Collaborating on enhancing security policies and procedures
• Assisting in vendor due diligence and third-party risk management
• Conducting compliance gap assessments
• Supporting internal and external audit processes

What you'll need to succeed

You will have relevant experience in the Cyber GRC field. Your key competencies will include:

• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, E8)
• Understanding of ISMS and security frameworks
• Knowledge of GRC management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and development
