This position is responsible for providing a consistent experience to leaders and employees by supporting and executing the engagement strategy for Lilly. The Senior Associate - Employee Relations HRBP provides partnership to leaders and employees focusing on the work environment, employee relations, performance management and business processes.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Irish employment law and ER processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Employee Relations Expertise
- Supports with ER matters across the site including managing probation periods, performance management, investigations, disciplinary hearings, workplace grievances etc.
- Applies policies and procedures across an organisation; interprets both policies and changes to policy. Positively influences policy enhancement.
- Applies compliance knowledge to protect organisation and mitigate risk.
- Serves as a subject-matter expert to senior leadership.
- Implements change based on proven change management techniques.
- Seeks ways to proactively improve organisational processes and outcomes; implements solutions that are aligned and consistent with global HR best practices.
- Facilitates difficult interactions among organisational stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes; resolves escalated conflicts among stakeholders.
- Builds consensus and settles disputes on HR policy and practice decisions.
- Executes HR business strategies to drive key business results; provides guidance on HR matters, partnering with subject-matter experts to develop needed solutions.
- Maintains broad-based knowledge of the organisation and its operations; uses knowledge of business and HR metrics to facilitate business decisions.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of the labour market and its relation to organisational success.
- Partners with senior leadership to proactively implement business solutions, utilizing HR expertise and perspective; supports HR projects.
- Coaches senior leadership on HR and business-related issues.
- Executes programs, policies, and procedures to drive an engaged and performing organisational culture.
- Executes consistent HR services for the operating entity.
- Interprets data and makes recommendations; asks critical questions needed to evaluate data; gathers, analyses and presents data to senior leaders and recommends solutions that support the culture and the defined HR strategy.
- Analyses root causes of work environment issues; manages interventions and solutions in collaboration and cooperation with key stakeholders.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas – HR, Legal, Business.
- Minimum of 3 years HR experience including experience working with and influencing senior leadership in large, complex multinational organisations.
- Excellent working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, performance management, employee engagement and talent acquisition.
- Outstanding skills in stakeholder management, proven ability in building and managing relationships.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organisation.
- Employee Relations Experience - Performance Mgmt, Coaching Leaders etc.
