Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a protection platform project for a leading banking client. The role involves investing in controls, systems, and processes to proactively identify, detect, and protect the bank. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the delivery of interrelated workstreams, ensuring an integrated and cohesive approach while supporting a team of delivery leads.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage projects with moderate-to-high regulatory oversight and a high-risk profile.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee program financials, conduct benefits realization analysis, and manage a $30-50MM budget.
  • Program Delivery: Lead delivery of up to Tier 2 programs with moderate to high complexity, occasionally Tier 1 programs.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Provide leadership and coaching to teams while partnering with business and executive stakeholders.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Ensure efficient, effective, and scalable delivery of all Business and Technology aspects of the project.
  • Decision Making: Align technology and business objectives into a shared delivery vision.
  • Business Case and Funding: Support structuring and securing approval for business cases and funding.
  • Project Estimates: Support the team in removing roadblocks during the estimation process.
  • Process Execution: Establish and execute appropriate project-level delivery frameworks (Agile and non-Agile).
  • Resource and Risk Management: Manage resource plans, issues, risks, and financial plans.
  • Issue Resolution: Anticipate and resolve issues while managing the program schedule and financials.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: 7-10 years of success in delivering in a hybrid environment.
  • AML Expertise: Experience with anti-money laundering (AML) processes.
  • Audit Experience: Experience within an internal auditing group.

Project Leadership:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects with competing priorities.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

  • Proven communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Engage, influence, and communicate effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.

Financial & Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
  • Understand cost-benefit analysis, ROI considerations, and financial governance.
  • Align with finance teams on investment planning.
