Program Manager - parttime / Grant Management

NTT DATA is currently looking for a Program Manager for a UN agency in Geneva.

This is a freelance parttime role for 50% and requires onsite performance in Geneva.

Your role:

• Support the continued operationalisation and optimisation of end-to-end grant management processes to enable effective engagement, and monitoring of CSOs and local partners.
• Strengthen and coordinate internal and external visibility of support to CSOs and local partners and ensure more consistent communication of the outcomes and impact of partner's contributions to national immunisation efforts.
• Support operationalisation and optimisation of the CSO and local partner learning agenda, including strengthening of regular peer-to-peer learning mechanisms with contracted partners and the wider CSO constituency.
• Support the operationalisation and optimisation of the CSO and local partner monitoring and evaluation system, including strengthening ways to extract, package evidence of contribution to national immunisation efforts.
• Develop support documents, and learning and communication products related to CSO and local partner engagement, and review and edit learning and communisation content for external and internal use.
• Provide technical and operational support to country teams in identifying opportunities for CSOs and local partners and ensuring effective end to end management of their contracts.
• Support standardisation of the organisation´s end to end grant management processes across the various funding mechanisms used to contract CSOs and local partners.

Your profile:

• University degree or equivalent in Project Management, Economics, Social Sciences, International Relations, or another relevant field is an advantage.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in programme, grant and/or project management is required.
• Specialized Procurement, Project/Programme/Grant management training considered an asset.
• Tertiary education with specialized Procurement management training.
• Relevant professional experience in international, governmental, or non-governmental organisation, and /or in private sector.
• Relevant professional experience in grant management and contracting of CSOs and local partners.
• Relevant experience in developing communication and learning products.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
• Excellent Financial literacy and analytical skills, including knowledge of SAP.
• Ability to work in a team; and to work in complex and fast-paced organization.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, with strong awareness and understanding of cultural sensitivities.
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines with uncertainty and ambiguity and at times with minimum supervision.
