We are looking for a talented and driven Master’s Student or a recent Master’s graduate (within 12 months) to join our team for a Data Science project. In this role, you will develop and deploy a model to streamline Tech Transfers. You will collaborate closely with the Schaffhausen site and the Global Process Science Modeling & Data teams to deliver a solution to eliminate the need for time and resource consuming lab experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and preprocess the available data
  • Develop and compare various Machine Learning models to select the best one
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to successfully deploy and test the selected model
  • Present findings and innovations at internal meetings

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s program in a STEM field (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or other relevant field)
  • A strong background in data-driven modeling
  • Proficiency in scientific programming with Python
  • Outstanding ability to identify, analyze, and proactively and independently address potential challenges
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
