Director of Artificial Intelligence

Our Dublin based client is looking for a Director of Artificial Intelligence to join their team on a permanent basis. As the AI Director, you will be at the forefront of artificial intelligence strategies, focusing on generative AI technologies and AI operational frameworks. This role requires a visionary leader with a robust technical background and the ability to drive initiatives that integrate AI into core business processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the AI strategy across the organisation, focusing on leveraging generative AI to enhance product offerings and optimise operations.
• Oversee the management of AI operations (AI Ops) to ensure effective deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI systems.
• Lead the development and execution of major AI projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and technology integration.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to embed AI capabilities into new and existing products.
• Establish best practices for AI ethics and compliance, ensuring that all AI solutions adhere to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the AI team, encouraging continuous learning and experimentation with new AI technologies and methodologies.
• Manage relationships with external AI vendors, research institutions, and technology partners to stay ahead of industry trends and advancements.

Essential Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Director of AI or AI Senior Manager
• Professional experience with AI tools
• 10+ years of experience with Data Analytics

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
