We are expanding our consultancy business in Poland, and we're looking for Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. If you are passionate about technology, coding, and solving complex problems, we want to hear from you.

Role Description

The role of Cloud Security Engineer reports directly into the Platform Compliance Lead, supporting the execution of capabilities aligned to cliients cloud security vision and to support strategic business objectives in a secure and compliant way. The role is responsible for writing and maintaining cloud posture management controls applied to Cloud infrastructure configurations running in AWS.

What You’ll Do

• Write and maintain preventive, detective, and corrective controls for AWS workloads in alignment with Cloud Security Architecture and Cyber Security Engineering
• Fully and robustly test and continuously monitor the existing controls to ensure they continue to be fit for purpose and align with the updated control definitions
• Take ownership of the evolution and help to maintain security and compliance related documentation
• Support teams to implement remediations in alignment with defined controls
• Liaising with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand our customers' needs and use this to help improve the service we provide
• Driving continuous improvement of cloud security and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data.
• Support incident management processes
• Proactively research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of cloud threats
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Expert level knowledge and hands on experience working with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience in a cloud security-focused role (working within a SIEM, working within a cloud devsecops team, as a dedicated cyber security engineer or similar)
• Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to commnicate with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams.
• Working knowledge of software development, DB and IaC tools and technologies; e.g Python, Bash, SQL, Terraform, CloudFormation and data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV.
• Self-motivated and personal integrity.
• Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of Agile working methodologies.
