Project Officer

Synopsis

The Project Officer is to work closely with the Project Manager, Cargo Digital Value Stream to support and manage the co-ordination, monitoring, planning, delivery and review of Cargo Digital and Technology projects, initiatives and activities.

Accountabilities

• Provides project management support for Cargo Digital and Technology projects.
• Liaises with key internal customers for regular reviews and stakeholder management.
• Manages and evaluates complex programmes/projects, owning a portfolio of activities which requires managing conflicting priorities, expectations, and multiple tasks.
• Works within the prioritised programme of activities for Digital and Technology Cargo Value Stream but with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to changing requirements.
• Ensure efficient cost management at the project level, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenses to achieve financial objectives.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in an Airline Cargo or Cargo Automation/Digital Cargo domain
• Project & Change management certifications
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies including SAFe, Scrum and Lean Portfolio Management
• Competency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA/JIRA Align etc,
• Technical and Air Cargo domain knowledge with proven ability to drive solutions
• Recognized as an active team player, with excellent communication and coordination skills as this role requires working with multiple teams across the organization .
