Role Duties: The Atlassian Advisor will focus on managing and improving the visibility, sizing, and processes of the work program using Atlassian Jira. Key responsibilities include:

• ormalising Atlassian requirements.

• Enhancing adoption of agile-aligned workflows and guiding on Jira hierarchy and project interrelationships.

• Developing FAQs, change communications, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

• Promoting consistent use of Atlassian agile delivery methods and ceremonies with flexibility for varying team needs.

• Reviewing current Jira usage, proposing improvements to work visualisation, and fostering adaptability across technical and non-technical teams.

• Designing and delivering progress and capacity reports for stakeholders.

• Providing recommendations for managing Atlassian product usage, including authentication processes and possible integrations.

• Assisting with implementation tasks as required.

• Proven ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects within agreed cost, time, and scope while producing accurate stakeholder reports.

• Expertise in leading and motivating project teams, managing resources, prioritising tasks, and maintaining confidentiality.

• Strong change management skills to support benefit realisation and alignment with business goals.

• Excellent communication skills for facilitating collaboration and fostering open communication with stakeholders.

• Interpersonal and negotiation skills to build positive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Advanced knowledge of Atlassian products and maximising ROI from these tools.

• Atlassian certifications.

• Proficiency in multiple Agile delivery methods.

• Experience coaching executive teams on adopting Agile delivery practices for varied project types.

• Familiarity with formal board governance, including documentation and formal project board operations.

• Prior experience in government or public sector roles.
