For the next growth steps of our company, we are looking for an experienced specialist in IT network infrastructure.

Job Description

  • Manage the global network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewall, Wi-Fi, VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN)
  • Oversee network security and access control (802.1X)
  • Provide, optimize, and further develop existing technical services to ensure secure and highly available operations
  • Analyze and resolve system disruptions at the 3rd-level support tier
  • Take significant responsibility for upcoming projects
  • Monitor, optimize, and document the network infrastructure
  • Collaborate and coordinate with both external and internal partners

Qualifications

  • Completed technical education with a focus on IT and several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in various network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, cloud security, etc.)
  • Proficient in English and German, both written and spoken
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong team spirit and communication skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): € 4.000 to € 5.000.
