IT Project Manager

Salary: 4200 - 4900 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience.

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

Contract till the end of 2025 with a high possibility of extension.

What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager with Tech experience in the Cloud Transformation within the Tech Platforms area to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. As part of this role, you will coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless and timely execution of Cloud migration activities within the Cloud at Scale Program. Joining our client team means being part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team where you can contribute with your expertise, learn from others, and play a crucial role in driving one of the critical deliveries on Danske Bank’s digitalization journey. The role is located in Lithuania. You will work closely with stakeholders, mainly located in Denmark, Lithuania and India, as well as colleagues from partnering organizations.

How You'll Spend Your Day

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless and timely execution of a particular stream in the Cloud at Scale Migration program.
• Ensure that all activities are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop stream‘s scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop a detailed plan for the stream activities to track progress and ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs, and measure stream performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to the Cloud at Scale Migration program leadership as needed.
• Manage the relationship with all relevant stakeholders and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Communicate effectively across the organization, providing updates, progress reports, and recommendations to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the stream.
• Execute on tech deliveries (infrastructural services) needed to accelerate migration to AWS cloud.
  
  

You'll be successful if you have

• Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in driving IT projects/programs (3+ years).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills, including problem-solving skills.
• Motivated by solving complex situations and excited about shaping and guiding projects through uncertainty.
• Structured, pragmatic and driving outcomes.
• Experience with executing tech infrastructure deliveries/related projects (Compute, Databases, Network, Observability services, etc. tech services).
• Basic public cloud knowledge (preferred).
