🔎We are looking for a Blockchain Architect

MAIN TASKS:

• Provide expert advice to senior leadership on blockchain technology trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, developers, and other architects to build blockchain solutions that tackle complex challenges.
• Establish and enforce blockchain technology standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
• Evaluate and assess third-party blockchain solutions to ensure the acquisition of high-quality offerings.
• Ensure that blockchain solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, AML, KYC).
• Stay updated on emerging trends in blockchain, DeFi, CBDCs, and AI, and evaluate their impact on the organization’s strategy.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure blockchain initiatives align with the organization’s broader goals.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of blockchain technologies, including distributed ledger systems, consensus algorithms (e.g., PoW, PoS), and cryptographic concepts like hashing and digital signatures.
• Strong experience in tokenization, smart contracts (including upgradable ones), and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721).
• Knowledge of Hyperledger Besu, Canton, Fabric, R3 Corda, and Quorum.
• Proven ability to create scalable, secure, and high-performance blockchain solutions.
• Solid understanding of blockchain security protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Insight into how blockchain can enhance or replace conventional financial processes, including trends in decentralized finance (DeFi) and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
• Expertise in cloud technologies, containers, Kubernetes, and integrating blockchain with financial systems.
• Certifications in blockchain technologies (e.g., Certified Blockchain Architect, Hyperledger Certified Professional) are a plus.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. French (nice to have)
• Hybrid regime in the Porto or Lisbon office.
