Simulation & Analysis Engineer

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Simulation & Analysis Engineer, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

In this role as Simulation Engineer you will plan, lead and perform computer aided analysis of transmissions within strength, durability and vibration. These gearboxes will be installed in conventional or BEV applications. You will support project leaders and design engineers in all project phases with technical solutions. You are involved in concept design and new technologies at Driveline. Abaqus and ANSA will be your main tools.

It is expected that you present and explain your results at meetings as well as in technical reports. You need to be able to work both independently and in cross functional teams.

Knowledge/Experience

To be successful, we believe you have the following skills/experience:

• Master of Science or higher in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Applied Mechanics or equivalent.

• Previous experience of Powertrain analysis from product development or research.

• Work experience within vibration simulation is a strong merit, as well as have used the fatigue analysis tool nCode DesignLife or similar software.

• Programming competence in Python or Matlab is a strong merit.

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
